A raven beauty

slowly runs her fingers

through her crown of hair

The spaces through her hands

filled with silky strands

as she smooth them past her ears

and gathers them in a bunch

Like a mistress true to her arts

in a hand, she holds her crown

and smoothes the remaining ebony silk

with the other.

The dance of fingers in harmonious tune

in concentration did they create

Hear her hum a soft tune

as she tie the final mantle to her work..
